I’m gonna give it a go this time.
I’ll be using: Xna + C#, sfxr and Paint.Net.
I’m gonna give it a go this time.
I’ll be using: Xna + C#, sfxr and Paint.Net.
I am in. First time. All excited.
My java game engine won’t be done in time, so I’ll be using GameMaker… 6. 8 hates my computer. sfxr/bfxr. MS paint (XP version). If I do music, it’ll be in Famitracker.
I’ll be unable to attend all of it, but I’ll gave it a shot anyway!
Finally, after 2 years I will have time to sit down on the weekend and do some coding
))))
Tech:
Unity OR XNA OR PyGLet.
Let’s get them ideas rolling!

Long time game maker (since i was 10) first time LD, but I’ve made games in 2 days before.
Wepons of choice:
Visual – Graphics gale
Audio – Beepola
Engine – OHRRPGCE
I’ll be keeping a log of my thoughts throughout this experience, and probably hype my progress often.
WOOP WOOP OHR REPRESENTIN’!
ALL SYSTEMS GO!
Hi folks, this is first time here, and i’m looking forward to it.
I’ll be using all my HTML5 powers, so Javascript + canvas all the way, can’t wait.
Im totaly gonna give this a shot
-game maker …as its the only thing im really proficient in at this point
-paint.net
-bfxr
Anyone got any good recommendations for time lapse software for OSX? I’ll be using the powerbook but I really want to do the whole #LD48 experience properly, posting junk food, recording timelapse, making bad jokes and maybe even producing a game.
This is my first time, I’m already excited.
I’ll be using XNA, bfxr and gimp/paint.net and my self written Map Editor (uses a Tile Engine from the library I’m going to post).
I’ll be using my own engine-library to create the game. Since it’s required to post the source beforehand I uploaded it to mediafire.
You can download it here: http://www.mediafire.com/?v71dv51drxnz2fa check bottom for new download link!
EDIT 19.08: I decided to use xTile Engine library and tIDE for my Tile Engine instead. I’ll still be using part of my old engine and another mapeditor I created.
I’ll post the source for the new adapted engine-library soon (still fixing some bugs)
EDIT 19.08: DONE, yay! Here’s the new Engine-Library-Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?xxex5cirjij1a5f
I’ll be using this version of the engine in the competition. It’s possible I may make changes to it during the 48 hours but I leave it alone till then.
Now to get some sleep…..

Been meaning to do one of these for a while, and it looks like I’ve got a free weekend coming up so let’s see how it goes.
Will be mainly using it as an excuse to get myself up to speed with Unity, so that’s my platform sorted right there.

Hi all,
It’s been a while and I am looking forward to the next weekend and another awesome LD. This time around me and a friend sent an e-mail to our university mailing list to try and get more people to participate, so we are gathering with them to participate so we can try to help the first timers.
Regarding technologies to use, my default will be flixel, but I would like to give a shot at haxe one of these days, so I may change my mind. I am a little reluctant to learn a framework from scratch during LD. As for sound I will probably use cfxr, and am still wondering what I’ll use for music. Graphics will depend a lot on the theme so I’ll postpone that decision till saturday.
That being said, I’m in! Good luck everyone!

First LD, should be fun!
code: Flixel/FlashDevelop
art: Gimp
music/sounds: ableton
Hey,
I’m not sure to attend the LD this WE (from France) as I’m exhausted by the game I just finished (Age of Enigma: The Secret of The Sixth Ghost).
In case I’m OK this WE, I wanted to disclose the language and framework I planned to use:
– BlitzMax
– Rockford mini-framework (self made) : https://github.com/dmekersa/RockFrameWork
Cheers!
David
Not sure if I will participate as I only got my netbook for the weekend and some events to attend.
I will use Flashpunk, Paint.Net, GraphicsGale, Bsfxr/Sfxr, and SunVox or ModPlugTracker for music.
Good luck, have fun and cya on the weekend.
No idea if I’m doing this right. Anyhoo…
I’m in. I’m a first timer, and I mostly want to see what such a short deadline can result in for me. And hey, it could be fun!
Not a lot to say. I’m probably going to be making use of C# and XNA, as I want to expand upon my C# knowledge. For audio and graphics, I’m not sure yet.
Good luck to all the people participating!
LD21 is starting on a bad date for me but I’ll do my best to see if i can enter.
I’ll be using Construct Classic but I may take this opportunity to try out Construct 2 or StencylWorks.

If I take part (which I probably will!) I’ll be using these:
i’m Mahdi. this is my first time. i will use XNA or Unity …
Unfortunately Missed the last LD, and got dragged away kicking and screaming by a friend time before that, but this time, I’m in.
Sound : sfxr
Art: Inkscape/Gimp
Librarys/SDK’s: either HGE or SFML depending on what happens also mabee TinyXML.
Im also considering using the OPAL library for HGE.
Time before last I only ended up with one day so I made a few libraries:
Ogmo Tile Editor Import Library
And my zip file archive library:
Feel free to use these libraries where ever or how ever you find them useful, Id appreciate you crediting me, but don’t feel that you have to,
although please do respect the base licences of the dependencies.
Good luck everyone.
Thanks And Kindest regards -Anthony
If this is enough for you, I could post you the details tonight at home. But who am I asking, this is the only indie way of doing it anyways =)
